2024 Annual Holiday Fundraiser Update

We are thrilled to announce another successful ICH Foundation Holiday Fundraiser! Thanks to the generous contributions from our donors in December 2024, we were able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families in need across the Chicagoland region. With your support, we provided vital items such as warm coats, sturdy boots, nourishing groceries, toys, and other essential supplies. Together, we are creating a brighter, more compassionate community!

This fundraiser is incredibly important to us and was inspired by an act of kindness that began 46 years ago with Irene C. Hernandez. At that time, Diane, Irene’s daughter, was teaching at Chicago Public Schools when one of her students passed away from cancer just before Christmas. In response, Irene rallied her family to provide food and gifts for the grieving family. Since that moment, Irene’s family—her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren—have continued this tradition of supporting families in need each year.

In 2024, we were able to assist multiple families, and with your support, we aim to help even more in 2025! We invite you to join our mission to share love, compassion, and hope. With your help, we will reach more families and make a bigger impact. Your donation will directly impact the lives of these families who are facing hardships and challenges.
