On May 27, 2026, we proudly awarded $500 scholarships to ten exceptional eighth-grade students, thanks to our generous supporters! These inspiring young individuals have shown remarkable potential, and their scholarships will allow them to purchase textbooks, technology, uniforms, and supplies, easing the financial strain on their families.

Making a Difference, Inspired by Irene’s Legacy

From 2025-26, 72% of students enrolled in Chicago Public Schools were economically disadvantaged, and 94.9% of students at ICH Middle School came from economically disadvantaged families. Recognizing the pressing need for support, the ICH Foundation is committed to alleviating the financial barriers that hinder educational success.
